Come and join the walking pilgrimage and visit the holy sites of Buddha, blessed by the Buddha, holy saints of the past, and celebrate the anniversary of the Buddha’s descent from Trayastrimsha heaven (after teaching his mother who had taken rebirth there, for three months) with His Holiness the Gyalwang Drukpa and his spiritual entourage, against the backdrop of historical sites, meditation caves, and archaic frescoes of meditational deities.

The most important places of pilgrimage in Buddhism are located in the Gangetic plains of Northern India and Southern Nepal, in the area between New Delhi and Rajgir. This is the area where Lord Buddha lived and taught, and the main sites connected to his life are now important places of pilgrimage for both Buddhists and Hindus.

Since there will be a lot of complicated onground arrangement for the Eco Pad Yatra, interested pilgrims are advised to make your own traveling arrangement going to the point(s) of assembly and departing from the finishing point(s), depending on the options.
